US Military says surplus oil production gone in 2012, "massive shortages" by 2015

Just when the economy starts showing signs of improvement, energy shortages will throw us back into turmoil as demand outstrips supply.

I read recently that the US reserve oil supply is "less than previously thought". (oops) Now this article with statements from the US military.

"By 2012, surplus oil production capacity could entirely disappear, and as early as 2015, the shortfall in output could reach nearly 10 million barrels per day," says the report, which has a foreword by a senior commander, General James N Mattis.

The US military uses the most fuel oil than any other consumer. Sounding an alarm like this can be expected.
