I'm really loving this book. I can't believe how much I don't know about gardening!!
I'm 1/3 the way in and love the style and content. I am seeing the importance of soil nutrient balance, soil temperature, compactness, etc. I discovered the pros/cons of raised bed gardens vs well-spaced rows on the ground, as well as the proper technique for using and caring for tools!
In my own plans for building a raised bed garden with gravity-fed drip watering, I see that constant irrigation may not be the way to go for the risk of over-watering. I love learning about the way they used to do it before piped water.
